*The Admissions department is located within our Hospital, Southfield location.
Manager of Admissions- Full-time opening, Salary position, Must have Day shift, M-F, and 40 hours per week availability. Supervises Admission staff to assure all necessary personal and financial data is obtained. Responsible for preparation and maintenance of all records of admission and other data as required. Selects and/or trains new employees. Recommends promotions, demotions, transfers or discharges of Admissions office staff. 3+ Years of experience supervising admissions and/or registration functions staff preferred. Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field preferred.
Admissions & Charge Audit Specialist- Full-time opening, 40 hours per week, M-F, Day shifts. Coordinates the admissions process and obtains required information for inpatients and outpatients in an efficient manner. Ensures an efficient revenue cycle flow through obtaining appropriate authorization and charge entry. Associate's degree in Healthcare field preferred. Experience with Medicare and third party claims strongly preferred. Previous experience in Admissions and registration preferred.
*The Billing department is located within the Warren offices.
Medical Billing Specialist- Full-time opening, 40 hours per week, M-F, Day shifts. Responsible for posting, billing, and collection of all accounts receivables, ensuring timely cash flow for the hospital. Experience with computers and/or medical software required. 2 + Years of medical facility experience preferred. Must have knowledge of UB04 and CMS 1500 claim forms. Must have knowledge of CPT, DRG, HCPCS, and ICD-9 coding required.
Inpatient Therapy Department:
*Oakland Regional Hospital, Southfield Location
*Inpatient Therapy Services are provided for both the Skilled Nursing Facility and the Med/Surg Units
Physical Therapist- Contingent opening, hours vary per week, Saturday availability preferred. Contingents have flexibility with their schedule. Provides physical therapy services to patients impaired by physical dysfunction, including assessment, treatment planning and implementation of the treatment plan based on the functional needs of the patient. Conducts screenings and evaluations to determine the patient's physical status. Provides supervision for PTA and students. 2+ Years of experience as a PT preferred. Must have a current, unrestricted PT License from the State of Michigan.
Medical Surgical Unit:
*The Med/Surg Unit is located within our Hospital, Southfield location
* 30 Bed Unit
RN, Med/Surg- Full-time, 36 hours per week, 12 hour shift length, Midnight (1900 - 0730) shifts. Responsible for the provision of nursing care to patients and to direct non-licensed staff in the same. Collaborates with the Physicians and Interdisciplinary Care Delivery Team to provide comprehensive nursing care. 3+ Years of experience as a RN strongly preferred. 1+ Years of experience providing care in a hospital setting preferred. Experience in a Med/Surg unit setting Strongly Preferred. Must have a current, unrestricted RN License from the State of Michigan. Current ACLS certification Strongly Preferred. Current Basic Life Support certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association required.
Director of Nursing- Full-time opening, Salary position, Must have Day and Afternoon shift, M-F, and 40 hours per week availability. Occasional travel time to other locations throughout the organization required. Responsible for the management of Hospital Nursing Services in the Medical-Surgical Unit and the Surgical Services department. Responsible for the direction and supervision of all nursing service functions and activities. Plans, develops, and directs the implementation of nursing practice, policy, and service development to be in compliance with standards of Nursing Practices and AOA. Must be able to exercise professional judgment and initiative when analyzing problems and recommending solutions. Masters Degree in Administration, Nursing, or Healthcare related field required. 5+ Years of Nursing Management experience required. Must have a current, unrestricted RN License from the State of Michigan.

Part-time openings, 16 - 24 hours per week, 8 hour shift length, Day (0700 - 1530) shifts. Assesses, plans care, provides treatment regimes, evaluates care and collaborates with the Physicians and Interdisciplinary Care Delivery Team to provide comprehensive nursing care. 1+ Years of experience as a LPN strongly preferred. 1+ Years of experience providing care in a hospital setting preferred. Experience in a Skills Nursing Facility or long-term care setting required. Must have a current, unrestricted LPN License from the State of Michigan. Current Basic Life Support certification for Healthcare Providers, from the American Heart Association required.
LPN- Part-time opening, 16- 24 hours per week, 8 hour shift length, Afternoon (1500 - 2330) shifts.
Surgical Services Department:

Anesthesia Technician- Full-time opening, 40 hours per week, M-F availability required. Under the direct supervision of the Anesthesiologist, provides assistance for the delivery of regional block anesthesia for patients. Responsible for stocking supplies and equipment for the delivery of anesthesia in all anesthesia services areas: including all operating rooms and pre-operative area. Provide assistance and equipment to Anesthesiologists and CRNA's with difficult airways that require glidescope or fiberoptic intubation or with any invasive lines such as central or arterial. Must be certified as an Anesthesia Technician from an accredited school. Experience assisting with Anesthesia regional blocks required. 2-3 Years of experience as an Anesthesia Technician preferred.

Performs nursing actives in the operating room where the nurse is the patient's advocate. Answers patient needs by assisting the physician and person responsible for anesthesia care. Responsible for providing planned, skill nursing care for patients in the critical preoperative and postoperative periods. Provides continuous patient surveillance for early recognition and immediate emergency treatment of medical or surgical complications that may arise in any postoperative patient. Experience in preoperative, postoperative, or critical care are preferred. Must have a current, unrestricted RN License from the State of Michigan. Current ACLS and BLS Certifications required.
