SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (WJBK) - The holidays will be a little
brighter for thousands of Michigan children this year thanks
to a local charity and generous donors from across metro
Detroit.
Big Family of Michigan collected more than 6,000 toys for
children waiting to be adopted and for those who are in atrisk situations.
Employees at Oakland Regional Hospital and Michigan
Surgery Specialists went the extra mile to make a
difference for kids who need it most.
"I think it means that there is a ray of hope. There's light at
the end of the tunnel. There's somebody that loves them
when they don't feel like they have it elsewhere," said
Stephanie McHugh with Oakland Regional Hospital.
