Welcome New Administrative Director and Orthopaedic Surgeon
December 2, 2011, Warren – Michigan Surgery Specialists, PC (MSSPC) and Oakland Regional Hospital are pleased to announce the appointment of David Vezina as Administrative Director of Michigan Surgery Specialists and Dr. Daniel Hoard as staff Orthopaedic Surgeon. Dr. Hoard will join the team on Friday, December 2 and Vezina will begin his new role on Monday, December 5.

Daniel Hoard is also a great asset to our team as he provides additional sports medicine expertise and extensive hip reconstruction experience.”
David Vezina has worked in the medical industry since 1979. He is a graduate of Wayne State University, earning his BA and MBA degrees as he worked at Henry Ford Healthcare System and the Oakwood Healthcare operation. While at these locations, he held positions in financial management and administration.
In 1999, Vezina joined US Medical Management, an organization providing management services to its subsidiaries. His most recent position was as the Vice President of Finance.
MSSPC will draw upon David’s experience to effectively lead teams and stream line processes so the organization will become more productive, efficient and supportive. This will ultimately provide the best service possible to our patients.
Daniel Hoard, MD is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in Sports Medicine, Hip Reconstruction and Total Joint Replacement. He is a graduate of Wayne State University School of Medicine. Dr. Hoard has provided the highest level of Orthopaedic Care to individuals in SE Michigan for over a decade. He now joins MSSPC holding office hours at the Orthopeadic office in Warren and performing surgeries at Oakland Regional Hospital in Southfield. Dr. Hoard is accepting new patients.
